Evie Booton-Ford

I've taught in a range of schools in Telford, Wolverhampton, and Dudley since I qualified as a teacher. I now work as a Head of English at a secondary school. I have a masters in Advanced Subject Teaching from the University of Cambridge.

I'm passionate about learning and about making learning engaging! When I was at school, my best teachers were the teachers that I had strong relationships with. They were also teachers that worked hard to make learning accessible, whilst also challenging!

My aim is to be a mixture of all of the teachers that I looked up to. I am patient, charismatic, versatile and enthusiastic.

My love for literature is evident in every lesson I teach.

I am particularly good at breaking down concepts and ideas to support pupils and to making their learning fun.

However, I also love pushing pupils to get the top grades! In my lessons, you'll receive lots of resources and structures to help you succeed.

Outside of teaching, I love to play sports like netball. Whilst I was at university, I played dodgeball for England and even work a World Cup! I also love to read.

When I'm not teaching, reading, or playing sport, I spend time with my husband and my family.
